Flex Designview

The flex designview is a Flash application that allows you to mesh-up Mxml interface files. You can drag and drop flex components on a canvas and edit their properties.

The project is hosted at sourceforge. Thanks go to Max and Mike McMullin for their work.

Open Designview

You can open any Mxml file with the designview. Just select a Mxml file, invoke a context menu Open With > Flex Designviewer.

The Flex Designview Editor has source page with an Eclipse WTP XML Editor. You can use simple completion thanks to the xsd4mxml project by Ali Mansuroglu.

At the bottom of the Designview Editor you can switch to the Designview Page.

In the Design view you can drag some components on the canvas and edit their properties.

Make sure to export your changes to the source editor page.
